Lord David Chidgey was a brilliant politician and humanitarian, always considering others less fortunate than himself. He was a member of the AEPI Management Board and will be sorely missed for his sharp, insightful contributions as well his brilliant wit and humour. He was passionate about the work we do in Africa, always looking for ways to ensure human rights were respected, and parliamentarians truly the voice of the people.
